Welcome to
Tri-County Humane Society
We are a No-Kill shelter located in the Forest City of the Ozarks, St. James, Missouri. Approximately 90 miles west of St. Louis. Tri-County is a private Non-Profit organization that is solely funded by donations. Providing shelter, medical needs, and placing each animal in good loving homes takes more than just desire and dedication. Donations make it possible for us to continue to provide the care we continuously strive to achieve. Please check out our wonderful animals available for adoption, or visit us to meet them and experience their unique personalities.

Mon. - Sat. 8am - 4pm
Sunday: We will be open to the public from 8 AM until cleaning of the shelter and feeding of the animals is complete (which is usually 10 or 10:30 AM).

Featured Animal
ROSIERosie is a 2 year old female Walker Hound mix. She has a sleekness and is graceful almost like a Whippet or Greyhound. Her beautiful face and white and tan markings are very distinct. This is one gorgeous dog. She has an elegant style and personality to match. She is great with kids and other dogs.
