Tri-County Humane Society
We are a No-Kill shelter located in the Forest City of the Ozarks, St. James, Missouri. Approximately 90 miles west of St. Louis. Tri-County is a private Non-Profit organization that is solely funded by donations. Providing shelter, medical needs, and placing each animal in good loving homes takes more than just desire and dedication. Donations make it possible for us to continue to provide the care we continuously strive to achieve. Please check out our wonderful animals available for adoption, or visit us to meet them and experience their unique personalities.

Mon. - Sat. 8am - 4pm
Sunday: We will be open to the public from 8 AM until cleaning of the shelter and feeding of the animals is complete (which is usually 10 or 10:30 AM).

Featured Animal
LUCIAN
Lucian is an 11 month old neutered white Labrador mix. He has a winning personality with just the right amount of energy for just about any family. He would be a great jogging companion, or playmate for the kids. He has lots of natural curiousity and loves to sniff around - maybe a hunting partner? Lucian is current on his Rabies, 1 year Canine Booster and the Dhlppc vaccination.
